Retmarker is currently available in two versions:
RetmarkerC a solution that automatically detects the progression of Retinal Changes over time. RetmarkerC uses image processing technology (namelly an advanced, proprietary, co-registration algorithm which automatically overlaps retinographies) and the latest medical research to deliver a product that automatically detects such changes accurately, effectively and effortlessly.
RetmarkerDR is a biomarker for Diabetic Retinopathy progression. It uses the same advanced proprietary co-registration algorithm and complements it with a state-of-the-art Microaneurysm (MA) detector to calculate important ratios regarding MA Turnover (Formation and Disappearance Rates). Latest research on Microaneurysm Turnover point it as the newest and most reliable biomarker for Diabetic Retinopathy progression in a mild non-proliferative stage to Clinically Significant Macular Edema (CSME), a sight-threatening stage. RetmarkerDR includes all features from RetmarkerC.
RetmarkerAMD Research is a new solution that allows computer-assisted grading of digital images from patients with Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). This solution, developed for an AMD Epidemiological Study won in London, in 2010, the European IT Excellence Award.
Complementing the Clinical Decision Support solutions, Critical Health has decided to incorporate in its portfolio an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) specialized in Ophthalmology.
Medisoft, the UK's best selling Ophthalmology EMR system, was the chosen partner. Critical Health is proud to announce this partnership to adapt, deploy and support Medisoft Ophthalmology in Portugal, Spain and Latin America. [Learn more]
The patients wear small wireless devices such as chest straps and bracelets that inform the care-givers of automatic fall detection, location within the facility or leaving the facility and the patients' heart rate. Wisedome utilizes Critical Health's command & control platform to direct the alarms to the right type of care-givers at the right time.
The system is being developed in conjunction with Assisted Living facility administrators and nursing staff to create products that increase quality of care and provide significant return on investment for the facilities.
Wisedome enables residents in Assisted Living facilities to be monitored using wireless wearable sensors to automatically detect potential falls, observe heart rates, and clients' locations within the facility. Additionally, the device also has a built-in call button that, when pressed, allows the senior to request for assistance without having to look for help or to use fixed room alarm systems.
Contrary to other systems, Wisedome integrates all of these features available in a single small wearable wireless device, which accompanies the client in his daily life and collects relevant data anytime and anywhere.
