Each event triggers an alarm which displays on large screens and also sound on caregivers devices (or mobile phones), making them aware of what happened and which patients need care

Every time an event is automatically detected, a notification is sent to the care-givers wireless device or mobile phone (SMS). At the same time, the event is displayed on alarm displays mounted on a wall or ceiling of frequent passing areas, increasing awareness of what happened and which seniors need care. It is not necessary to use a computer to resolve alarms.

The care-giver can then provide assistance to the client and automatically resolve the alarm, being able to document it later using the web-based user interface.

Existing Wi-Fi structures are used for wireless wearable devices communications. No additional equiment is required. This way, facilities can leverage their current Wi-Fi investments to guarantee their patients are monitored at all times.

Alarms are prioritized in "high priority alarms" and "low priority alarms".

High priority alarms include:

  • Fall detection
  • Heart Rate alarms
  • Location Based Alarms
  • Removal and out of battery alarms

Low priority alarms include:

  • Client calls (button presses)
  • Client escorts
  • Battery level status
